What are the reasons for the vibration of centrifugal fan?

There are many reasons for the vibration of centrifugal fans. Let's briefly talk about two of them.

Firstly, the allowable vibration value of the fan varies with the installation, basic condition, use and model of the centrifugal fan. Most of the reasons that cause the vibration of centrifugal fan are rotor imbalance, which is mainly caused by uneven rotor material, deviation during machining and assembly, asymmetric structure of parts, friction and deformation encountered during assembly or handling, etc., so that the center of mass of rotor does not coincide with the rotating geometric axis. When the rotor rotates, unbalanced centrifugal inertia force is generated, which causes greater dynamic reaction force of bearings, and the vibration of centrifugal fan is stronger, which accelerates bearing wear, reduces service life and increases fan noise.
